About Me:

I live with my wife, Charlene in Vestal, New York where we have lived for the last 25 years. Our daughter, Dana Marie, is currently living in London, England where she works for the investment firm of Alliance-Bernstein; and our son, Michael, is a teacher of French in Hamilton, NY. We both retired from education in June of 2004, and I started a new practice in Real Estate shortly after. I am a member of the Vestal Rotary Club, and I am a graduate of Leadership Broome, a program sponsored by the Broome County Chamber of Commerce to train community leaders. I spent over 10 years in the classroom teaching English and Theater, and I served as the High School Principal for Vestal, NY for over 10 years before I retired. I have been very successful in helping First Time Home Buyers as well as Homeowners on their second or third home. I specialize in all types of Residential Property as well as Investments and Land Purchases and Sales.

Hobbies

My latest hobby to relax and have some fun is playing "OLD TIME FIDDLE" with some members of the community. My teacher is one of the best, and I am really learning a lot. Charlene and I recently hosted two visitors from Moscow, Russia through our association with the Friendship Force of Binghamton, and we plan to host some visitors from Peru in September. I also serve as my family's historian, and I have been involved with geneology for over 10 years. Char and I also like to travel, and our last trip was to Peru and the Galapagos Islands. We are planning a trip to Africa in October of 2008. As I am quickly becoming a World traveler, I see myself looking to work in foreign markets. I am looking to earn my CIPS Designation this year.

Special Services

I have completed all the necessary training to practice Real Estate in New York ,and I am also licensed in Pennsylvania. I have completed the certification requirements as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and I finished my GRI (NYS Graduate, Realtor Institute). I have also completed my course and test for Broker's Certification, and now carry the title of Associate Broker. My latest educational certification has been in the area of technology where I completed the course work for the E-PRO Designation. I currently serve on the Education Committee, the Grievance Committee,the Strategic Planning Committee, and the Reduced Risk Committee for the Broome County Board of Realtors.
